Strange.... Alias aneh.....!!!!

Imagine if you tried yo be nice to someone in mrt, but the reaction is the opposite?
Ghrrrrrr.....!!!! Want to agry... Mau marah tenan.....!!!
Today i saw this person holding the book, title is Indonesian.
This human depart from bradel mrt.
Wah siok man.....
Wow, I should be proud as Indonesian.
So I talk to him directly 'I am Indonesian!!!!'
But what the h of the reaction????!!!

"You are strange people....!!!
Wa lau ler....
I though he will say:
1. Oh realy, nice to meet you.... I love Indonesian that's why I learn bahasa bla...bla...
2. Oh great... So I am do lucky today, so I want you tell me about Indonesian people bla...bla...
At last there is conversation between us. He though me that I am chinese, I said I am Javanese. To surprice me he said " Piye kabare!!!", then I answered "Apik".
Huh.... Somse sekali nih bule!!!!!
I saw that hus face look regret, coz he though negative about me, but ok lah....
Just past on, then forget it lor.....

Chinese ecomy rice

There is small stall in orchard rd near sommerset mrt. I can not remember the name, the place is opposite 313 sommerset (mid plaza?). You should go down, last time there is burger king, but now no more, the place is near by it. With price is cheap as $2.5 you can make full your stomach when lunch time!
See the food with afordable price in prime place in orchard rd !!! Inside have rice, chicken curry, toufu and vegy.

Grilled rice

Sound weird?
I hope not.
This rice is covered by banana leaf mix with meat, spice and coconut milk ( I guest), and been grilled. So when it open, you can smell banana leaf aroma. Served with smashed fried chicken, a small amount of kangkoong, tau fu and fried tempe. The stall is in food court lucky plaza level 6, name stall is bumbu desa. The price is around $5.5 per set meal. The taste is just ok.

Fried noodles for $1.90

Yes, it's true! With $ 1.90 this breakfast will make you full. With bee hoon, noodles, kwe tiaw, fried egg and fish cake. Dont forget with chili sauce! The stall is still in comcentre sommerset mrt.

Well this lunch is in comcentre again, the menu is nasi padang. Inside got rice, toufu, long beans, and mutton curry. Price? Enought pay $3 fir this one. See the picture:

Chicken U Mian

This food is quite heavy as a break fast menu for me. I bought it in kopitiam near youth park sommerset. This kopitam only have 3 stalls; malay food, noodles stall and drink stall. The price is $3 per bowl. The nodles make on the spot, so the tase us fresh, the soup also tasty. Inside have nodlles, chicken meat, eg, crispy fried bilis fish. See the photo:

For lunch today is in yoshinoya.
There is new set meal for seafood.
The price is $8.5. The taste is good, but size to small to me for lunch. So u can see this new set meal from yoshinoya:

Yeah, this morning is Lontong Sayur. Most of know thi Malay food. There is lontong, gravy coconut milk low condence, toufu, gabage and some vegies. Please see the photo.






But wait...., something forgotten! Eg, yeah she never add the boiled eg in my meal, so add $0.50 for this one.
Still in comcentre singtel sommerset, you can find only 1 stall for malay economy rice.... See the photo.....

Break fast this morning is noodles. Still in comcentre singtel somerset food court. The stall called wanton/chicken noodles. With paid $2.5, you will get:

Korean food(bbq soba fish)

Hr ini makan siangnya ikan. Ya di comcentre, singtel ada food court nyang jual ikan soba bakar ala korea. Dengan paket nya termasuk ada nasi+kimci+salad, sup, n main nya adalah bbq soba. Bisa diliat detail photo di bawah. Harga cukup $4, hm.... Mana lg seh dg hrg sehitu dpt ikan panggang segede ini, mana tempaynya prime place sommerset. Oh ya dr somerset mrt bisa ambil kiri mnuju gedung singtel, turun kearah car park, cari aja korean food, akan terlihat antrian panjang pas lunch time working day....

Mengenai rasa? Ya jangan bandingin ama lele goreng.....
Tp ini lebih berdaging(bergizi n lebih sehat? Gak tau yach...biar orang lain aja yg menilai), dan yg jelas bikir kenyang, wareg tenan...!!

Hokien mie & yong tau fu. Akhirnya behasil dah upload photonya. Secara sengaja, nyari di app store dg konci 'blog'.

Di hampir semua tempat mkn umum di sg ada jual hokian mie. Untuk yg satu ini (upload photo) katanya sih enak dan lumayan terkenal. Bertempat di foid crt blok 172, lt2 toa payoh lorong 1. Dr bishan mrt ikutin sebrang jalan mcdi, kira jalan 100 meter belok kiri, dusitu ada pasar n food court.



Hmm sekarang tentang hokien mie-nya.

Nunggu masaknya lumayan lama 8 menitan. Terlalu asin, tp tetap enak dan fresh. Secara keseluruhan ya patut dicoba, ya tombo kepingin tau aja, gak mengecewakan.





Didalamnya ada mi kuning, bihun, udang, mince meat(pastinya bak), semburat ada kriuknya(guest kulit bak), n hampir nyemek kental mungkin krn dikasih tapioka flour. Harga di gbr $3, tp tersedia juga $4 buat yg punya telih gedhean...:)

Sekarang giliran yong tau funya, tempatnya gak jauh dr yg jual jokien mie diatas...
Rada unik krn kebanyakan gorengan, sayur hampir ga ada( cuman kliatan terong doang), mie juga gak dipajang kayak warung yong tau fu pd umumnya. Mengenai rasa, patut di coba, fresh panas, micin gak terlalu kuat. Hrg fi photo cukup $3, hmmm kuahnya dueger juga.
